KML and Shapefile Downloads

Below is a listing of shapefile and kml downloads of all named features for each target. These files are generated nightly. The images are in a zip archive along with the projections.

The images and KML files are in east longitude, planetocentric latitude. All bodies are cartographically treated as spheres, except Mars, which means there is no difference between a planetocentric and planetographic latitude system. Coordinates in the gazetteer database are shown in the IAU-approved coordinate system for each body. You can view the coordinates in either an east or west system by changing the latitude/longitude options in the advanced search. More information on Coordinate Systems.
